Do you enjoy making art and would like meet other creative people?
Do you need some time for yourself to relax and have fun?
I want to help you reconnect with your creativity. So you can have the confidence to have a go and try things out. To enjoy the process of making without the pressure to do something amazing and look good. To get back to the joy of being in a flow state where you are focusing on the task at hand.
Adults of all different ages and levels of experience join my art classes because they want to make art regularly. To develop their own style and approach. I create a safe supportive environment where people can be their selves free from judgement and comparison. We all grow at our own pace. Making art alongside each other.
Below are the art groups, classes and workshops I run online and face to face.
Art on Mondays is a weekly online group that meets from 7pm to 8.30pm on Monday evenings UK time.
Art on Zoom is a weekly online group for older adults which meets 10.30am to 12pm on Wednesday mornings UK time.
Art in the Pub is a fortnightly art class run in the Gallimaufry in Bristol from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Wednesdays. I support people to play and experiment with different art materials and techniques to produce original artworks.
Art Coaching: Building Confidence in Sharing Your Creativity is a half day workshop at Bristol Folk House where people can look at the narratives that might be keeping them stuck, so they can have more confidence to move forward in their creative practice and share it. This is from 1.30pm to 4.30pm on Sunday 27th September.
Art Coaching: Get Artwork Seen, Shared and Sold this is a course for people who have a creative practice which they want to share with the world and make money from. We will explore networks and opportunities in Bristol, considering our potential customers and develop possible business ideas. We will experiment with habits and mindsets to increase confidence to move forward and flow in our creativity. This is a five week course at the Bristol Folk House on Fridays from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
All my sessions are friendly, relaxed and supportive. I create an atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to come alive creatively and be themselves. We all have different past experiences some of which may have shut us down creatively. I believe we can gain confidence by making art regularly with others. That together we are stronger and creating is more fun.
